3. Internship Description

This internship offers students hands-on exposure to real estate transactions, construction consulting, and professional business development in an active NYC market. The intern will work directly with JayPax’s Managing Partners and receive close mentorship in a fast-paced, professional environment.

The role is designed as an experiential learning opportunity and may be eligible for academic credit (subject to university approval) or paid hourly compensation.

4. Key Responsibilities

  • Professional outreach to real estate brokerages, mortgage firms, and property management companies
  • Supporting the coordination of educational industry events (Lunch & Learn programs)
  • Market research and CRM data management
  • Drafting and refining professional email communications
  • Participating in internal strategy discussions and select external meetings
  • Gaining exposure to real-world renovation and construction considerations within transactions

7. Supervision & Mentorship

The intern will be supervised directly by JayPax’s Managing Partners. Ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance check-ins will be provided to ensure meaningful learning and skill development throughout the internship period.

8. Time Commitment

  • 10–20 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments
  • Hybrid structure (remote work with optional in-person meetings in NYC)

9. Compensation

  • Eligible for academic credit (where applicable)
  • OR paid hourly compensation
  • Performance-based bonuses may be available for meetings scheduled

  • Interested in pursuing a career in real estate or a related field post-graduation

  • Semester-based or flexible term (8–12 weeks preferred)
