International Tax Internship

The Wolf Group specializes in providing professional services to a sophisticated and high-net worth international clientele. We provide expatriate and international tax planning and compliance services, as well as wealth management services. While students are exposed to both our international tax and our wealth management practice units, this position will emphasize our International Tax practice. 

An internship at The Wolf Group, P.C. is designed to provide the student intern an opportunity to learn and gain practical experience in as broad an array of service areas as possible. There is virtually no "busy work" in our internships. Interns are involved in meeting with clients, preparing forms, schedules and income tax returns for our international clients, assisting in Tax Consulting engagements and the drafting of findings letters, and an array of other activities. They also attend meetings with both prospective clients and clients for whom we are delivering our technical findings at the conclusion of an engagement. They receive exposure to our wealth management practice as well. 

Training is ongoing and comprehensive, with regular in-house training sessions made available both to Interns only and to the staff as a whole. One-on-one training occurs daily and our Interns are each assigned a mentor for their stay with us. 

Interns also participate in their own Initiatives. For example, our Interns are asked to select a topic of their choosing and present a Lunch-and-Learn on that topic to our staff. They co-author an article in our quarterly Newsletter, and are engaged in other similar projects. 

While we take our Internships seriously, they are also a lot of fun. Interns of course join us on out-of-town Firm outings, celebrations and a number of other summer social events. 

The Firm has two primary objectives of its Internship program. One is to offer students the best possible experience and professional exposure in order to further their professional and career development. We simply enjoy doing this. The other is to leverage the program in recruiting full-time staff for the Firm upon the students' graduation.
