- Coordinating with project managers, field supervision, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Attending project meetings and visiting active construction sites
- Learning and using industry-standard estimating, project-management, and construction-document software
- Supporting projects from preconstruction through closeout
Ideal candidates will have completed or be nearing completion of an associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Construction and Instrumentation, Construction Technology, or a closely related construction program. Current students approaching graduation are encouraged to apply, and the anticipated full-time start date can be coordinated around the selected candidate’s academic schedule.
Candidates should be organized, dependable, detail-oriented, proficient with computers, and capable of reviewing technical information and working accurately with project costs and quantities.
Previous electrical or construction experience is helpful but not required. Relevant coursework, internships, or other exposure to the construction industry will be considered. Perreca Electric is prepared to train a motivated candidate who demonstrates initiative, professionalism, accountability, and a genuine interest in electrical construction.
The anticipated starting compensation is approximately $65,000 annually, based on a 40-hour workweek. The final hourly rate will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, and qualifications.
Benefits include medical insurance, 401(k) and profit sharing, and paid time off, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Newburgh, New York office, with occasional travel to project sites throughout the Hudson Valley.
