Summer Internship Artist & Label Partnerships LATAM

For the Artist & Label Partnerships, LATAM intern, we are seeking an outstanding candidate who is a passionate music fan and is in tune to various genres and cultures of music with a particular interest in Latin American genres. You strive for operational excellence and can work autonomously in a fast paced environment with an ability to multitask and assist in the launch of complex campaigns.

Miami

As a part of the LATAM Artist & Label Partnerships team you’ll work alongside our Miami based staff as they build relationships with key artists, managers, rights holders and partners within the broader LATAM music industry to create and complete impactful marketing campaigns. You will work closely with the North American Music team on pivotal initiatives as well as with international counterparts on global campaigns.

What you'll do
  • Assist in the day to day operations with Labels, Distributors and Content Aggregators
  • Support in the management and execution of artist marketing campaigns
  • Build presentations and reports for partner and client meetings
  • Conduct general administrative tasks, (eg. content updates, maintaining release schedules, research on competitors and music industry news)
  • Work closely with other departments within Spotify (eg. Operations, Editorial, Marketing, Analytics) in order to achieve the Artist and Label Partnership team’s larger objectives
  • Work from our Miami office

Who you are
  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program focusing on Business, Music Management, Media Management or related field.
  • You have a graduation year of 2023
  • You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2022
  • You have a general understanding of how to creatively market and promote a release across digital platforms
  • Exhibit a clear understanding of the Latin American Music Industry landscape along with current trends and innovations within the industry
  • Organized and passionate about creating effective and efficient processes
  • You are an open, transparent and clear communicator
  • An optimistic-minded, self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude and knack for problem solving
  • Passionate about working in a fast paced and iterative global environment
  • Proficient in all facets of Google Workspace and Excel
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish (Portuguese is a plus)

Our paid summer internships last for 10-13 weeks and start at the beginning of June. The last day to apply is January 28th, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST.
