Tax Auditor - New York
The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration is one of California’s major revenue agencies. As part of our extensive audit program we have an office in New York City with a staff of 66 tax auditors. The New York Office deals primarily with the California Sales and Use. The Tax Auditor position is an entry-level that does not require experience. Audits are conducted at taxpayer locations on the East Coast of the United States and portions of Canada. The position requires up to 50% out-of-town travel.
There is room for growth within the New York City office since there are six levels of tax auditor positions. We offer a wide range of benefits including health, dental, and pension plans.
