Accounting Intern (Summer 2023)

Summer Internship:
  • We have internships in Acquisitions, Asset Management, Finance/Accounting, Information Technology, Leasing, and Property Management. Please apply to the internship that applies to your major and interests you most. Please do not apply to more than two internships.
  • The internship will be in-person*
  • The internship will take place in June – August (8 weeks – 5 days per week)*
  • Travel or relocation expenses will not be covered by Paramount

What You’ll Do:
  • Coordinate organizational and administrative tasks and support payables and receivables
  • Shadow members within the finance/accounting department (including, property and fund controllers, leasing, accounts payables, account receivables, etc.)
  • Help compile financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, and leasing reports
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly variance analytics
  • Help process certain functions within the accounts payables and receivables department
  • Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests and projects as needed
 
Requirements:
  • Currently attends a college or university in a bachelor’s degree program — preferably Accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Understand general finance and accounting principles and practices, financial markets, and banking
