ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary:

The role of the Field Systems Technician is to support, maintain, and program onsite systems used in the ongoing hospitality operation. This includes hardware/software support, maintenance, installation, and ensuring operational effectiveness. Additionally, assisting in the delivery and improvement of software/hardware systems within the organization.

Responsibilities :
  • Provide day to day support and troubleshooting of software/hardware
  • Implement systems to enhance field level operations
  • Design, develop, and implement training programs as they relate to systems
  • Actively stay current on emerging technologies and issues in support of business efforts
  • Stay abreast of significant technological developments that may impact the business
  • Ensure effective use and operational oversight of field level systems


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 1+ year working in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of network infrastructures and core components
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, O365, and Windows environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot level 1 hardware and software errors
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate pertinent information to management peers
