What Will You Be Doing?
As an integral member of our team, you support with the following job duties:
  • Greet internal and external customers who visit the HR department to determine the reason for their visit and identify the most appropriate HR team member to assist them.
  • Work with new hires to ensure they meet all onboarding requirements such as education, licensure, I9, physical/drug screen, background checks and completion of all required documents.
  • Communicate to new hires that they are cleared to start and provide orientation materials.
  • Assist employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures. Escalate issues as needed.
  • Complete data entry in the HRIS system regarding new hires and existing employees.
  • Ensure new hire files are complete and in compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) & Hospital regulations.
  • Grant/troubleshoot access for employees in HRIS, Performance Management, and Recognition databases.
  • Assist with HR initiatives as needed.
  • Assist with new hire orientation as needed.
  • Order supplies for the department.
  • Distribute mail received to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What Do You Need?
  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • Prior internship or experience with onboarding new hires highly preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
