Human Resources Intern (Summer 2023)

The intern joining the Human Resources Department should be an energetic and hardworking individual. The Intern will support the Human Resources Administration team with day to day operations and projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:
·        Assisting HR team members with a wide range a range of administrative tasks (i.e., maintaining and updating employee records, email correspondence and invoicing)
·        Assisting with the review and answering of employee questions
·        Assisting with the off-boarding process for voluntary leavers
·        Helping coordinate Proskauer Intern Network (PIN) events and activities
·        Assisting with various HR projects (i.e., I-9 review, Vi-Desktop update)
·        Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
·        Must be enrolled in a four year undergraduate program
·        Any previous internship or work experience is a plus
·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·        Excellent analytic and organizational skills
·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office
·        High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow through

This position will require some physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a weekly basis. The anticipated compensation for this position is $17/hour. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
