Nashville & New York Management Internship

Mick is a boutique management company and record label with offices in Brooklyn, Nashville, and Los Angeles. Our roster includes Leon Bridges, Maggie Rogers, Ray LaMontagne, Carly Rae Jepsen, The Backseat Lovers, Caamp, My Morning Jacket, WALK THE MOON, Sharon Van Etten, Savana Santos, The 502s, Hamilton Leithauser, and David Gray.

We look for experienced college and graduate students with enthusiasm for our roster. We pride ourselves on including interns in as many aspects of the company as possible and providing a space for mentorship. We welcome four to five interns per semester. Interns must commit to at least two days per week for full days, 10:30 am - 6:30 pm. Candidates must be undergraduate or graduate students who can earn credit.

The Management Intern is supervised by a Day-to-Day Manager. The intern will gain a thorough understanding of the responsibilities we hold as managers and how we work with both internal and external teams (labels, agencies, digital streaming platforms, merch partners, etc.) to orchestrate all artist projects. The main focus areas will be tour marketing, music releases, fan engagement, and social media and digital streaming platforms' role in helping our artists tell their stories from project to project.

To be considered, students must thoroughly understand social media platforms and have basic knowledge of Dropbox and Google Drive. The right candidate can communicate professionally, is interested in project management, and has a strong passion for music.

Mick is currently working on a hybrid schedule; however, the intern must be based in Nashville or New York City and can commute to our office in Downtown Nashville or Gowanus (Brooklyn) at least one day per week. The program starts in June and ends mid to late August.
