Human Resources Specialists/Office Coordinator

Human Resources Specialists/Office Coordinator 


Position: Human Resources Specialists/Office Coordinator
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: $18.00-$29.00/hr (or near equivalent weekly salary)
We are primarily looking for a full-time employee, but we are also open to part-time candidates. (Pay may be on hourly or weekly basis depending on wage and scheduling arrangement.)

This is not an entry level position. This is a leadership role that requires in-depth understanding of federal, state, local and company policies, payroll and the hospitality/restaurant industry. This role also delves into training staff.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Human Resource:
  • Attend webinars and continuously learn, research and update company policies, protocols, handbook, posters and notices, etc.
  • Responsible for onboarding newly hired employees to ensure valid employment documents, employee handbook overview, benefits enrollment
  • Perform weekly payroll across multiple locations
  • Assess company-provided employee benefit plans for sufficient coverage, changes and renewals
  • Develop, maintain and enforce employee handbook, mandated training 
  • Write reports and conduct interviews with staff for investigation purposes
Office Coordinator:
  • Arrange, participate and lead meetings with restaurant managers and other related staff
  • Communicate with accounting department and CPA regarding company’s financial health
  • Coordinate with team and perform other duties as assigned

A College Degree in Human Resource, Business or related field preferred. Previous Human Resources experience preferred. Japanese and/or Spanish speaking knowledge is a plus. Two weeks training will be provided.
