Genie Leadership Development Program

Genie Leadership Development Program Overview: 

The Genie Leadership Development Program (GLDP) immerses high potential recent graduates in three 12-month assignments within various areas of Genie. Rotations will most likely include Production Supervisor, Associate Sales Manager, and Associate Product Manager. Rotations will most likely all be stationed in Washington state, but we are asking candidates to be open to relocation during and after the program. 

The cross-functional assignments will provide an opportunity to expand team members’ management skills and knowledge of Genie’s business. We expect GLDP participants to advance as leaders at Genie, as the cross-functional exposure creates well-rounded team members who understand how the business works and how each function contributes to our company’s success. Successful GLDP participants will be placed in manager level positions after completing the program in good standing. 

The GLDP is open to candidates who have an upcoming graduation in 2025 or graduated within the last two years (interested internal candidates who do not meet qualifications please contact program manager). All candidates must be committed to completing all three years of the program.     

Applications for the GLDP are being accepted now, with the first rotations starting in June 2025. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities will be dependent on business needs and might be tailored to individual strengths and interests. However, you can expect to – 

  • Complete three 12-month rotations through the position titles and responsibilities of Production Supervisor, Associate Sales Manager, and Associate Product Manager 
  • Develop a robust understanding of how the Genie business is run, including our products, customers, and operating system 
  • Enjoy dedicated coaching and mentoring from industry authorities while working on critically important projects that will prepare you for your own leadership role. 
  • Be placed in a manager level position after successful completion of the program in good standing 

 

Must haves: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, industrial engineering, or similar field or graduated within the last two years  
  • Track record of demonstrable accomplishments in school and at work 
  • Commitment to three 12-month assignments 
  • Ability to relocate anywhere in the United States 
  • Rotations will most likely be based in Washington State during the program and after program, but some possibility of relocation outside of the state after the program 

Nice to haves: 

  • Excellent written and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications 
  • Action oriented and strong follow-up 
  • Positive, can-do attitude; self-starter 
  • Attention to detail 

 

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, please apply as soon as possible. The base salary for this position is $75,000 USD. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a 3% performance bonus.
